Insurance at school and university

How is it really with ‘obligatory’ insurance at school and at university? Dou you have to pay extra for a policy offered at the school office or at the dean’s office if you have a Euro 26 card with insurance? We have been receiving a lot of e-mails and letters related to this issue, which is why we have decided to deal with it in detail.

Do you have to pay extra for insurance offered at school or at university if you are a Euro 26 cardholder? The answer is easy – NO, you don’t. The insurance policy in Euro 26 card successfully replaces other insurance policies for pupils and students offered at schools or universities. To put it simply: if you have a Euro 26 card, you are insured all year round, 24 hours a day (i.e. also during the time of your education). You become convinced of the fact how useful the Euro 26 card is on a daily basis. A dozen or so schools and universities, among them also Warsaw University (our partner for several years), have been cooperating with us. Student governments in these institutions have chosen the insurance included in the Euro 26 card as definitely the best one.

Difficult cases from dean’s offices and school front offices.
In the letters we have been receiving from you, you sometimes describe the situation in which you hear that Euro 26 is not recognised when you try to sort out your school or university insurance. What to do in the situation like that? The best solution is to show the booklet with insurance conditions (you get it when you buy your card). There is a certificate inside this booklet to prove that you are insured. If for any reason you still do not have this certificate, you can download it from our website >> insurance certificate . If it has not solved your problem, do contact us directly – we will help you to deal with it. >> contact.
